5 Troubleshooting
5.1 Problems related to Upper Limit Settings
Description of problem Action
A device managed with Account Manager
can no longer print. With "Prohibit Printing" specified for "Operation
when value of Upper Limit was reached", when the
number of pages printed reaches the upper limit
specified for a specific user, the user will no longer
be able to print.
Printing can be enabled again by changing the up-
per limit using the following steps.
(1) From the Top Menu, select [Upper Limit Set-
tings] - [Setting by User], select the user for whom
restrictions are to be removed, and then click the
[Update] button.
(2) In the "Update" page, change the upper limit,
and then click the [Apply] button.
(3) The settings are applied the next time the upper
limit counters are collected, at which time restric-
tions are removed.
