10. Platform Assembly and Gate - Check mounting pins

are not loose; platform railing is undamaged; platform
latch is engaged on carriage (Figure 2-7.); self-closing
entry gates are in proper working order; no cracks or
corrosion visible.

are retained in

by viewing through the cover.

The two upper rope tails

should be slack.
