6.4 Starting Cam Designer
When the product and axes have been generated in the »Cam Manager«, the »Cam De-
signer« can be started.

Tip!
Many actions which have been described for the »Cam Manager« also apply to the
»Cam Designer«.

Go to the »Cam Manager« and select EditStart Cam Designer...
• If only one product is available, the »Cam Designer« directly opens with the
product.
• If several products have been generated, the dialog box Start Cam Designer is
displayed. The corresponding product can be selected in the selection field.
• After the »Cam Designer« has opened, the profiles can be drawn there.

Directly click the product name in the »Cam Manager« so that the »Cam Designer«
directly opens with the product.
 A profile can be generated in the operating range of the »Cam Designer« with the pro-
file objects available.

