About Installation
This section provides information on load unit installation. After installation is complete, it is recommended
that you verify operation before putting the load unit into service and start running tests.
Unpacking Horizontal Configuration
Note:
Illustrations show a typical load unit. Some load units can be packaged control panel down. However,
regardless of orientation, the following instructions can be used.
Prerequisites
The load unit is shipped horizontally on a wooden pallet. You will need the following equipment to unpack
the load unit:
• Lifting slings—not chains—to lift the load unit from its pallet
• Rubber mats for the load unit’s feet to rest on
• Drill with a Phillips bit to unscrew blocking
• Wooden blocks for the load unit’s columns to rest on
• Depending on the straps, a knife or band cutter to cut the packing straps
Warning:
The load unit is extremely heavy.
The weight of the load unit can seriously hurt you and damage your load unit.
Do not allow the load unit to drop or topple. Observe the following precautions:
