Warning :
Applying power can result in sudden crosshead motion.
A moving crosshead can injure anyone in its path.
Always clear the crosshead area before applying power.
Dual Workspace Crush Zones
1. Turn on power to the system. The main power switch is located on the right side of the frame base.
Select position I to turn the power on to the load frame and the controller. When the power is on, the
displays on the frame control panel illuminate.
Note:
To turn off power to the load frame and the controller, select position O.
2. Open the TW Express application on the computer by double-clicking the TWX desktop icon, or click
the Windows Start button on your desktop and select MTS TestSuite > TW Express. The TWX
application automatically connects to the MTS Insight controller.
3. If the Interlock indicator on the control panel is active, click the Reset button to clear the interlock. If
other fault status indicators are active and need to be resolved, click the Status panel Open icon to
open the Status window.

4. Select the workspace (upper or lower) that you will be using.
