Resolving Interlock and Error Conditions

Resolving interlock and error conditions is a normal part of operating an MTS Criterion System. You typically
identify and resolve these type conditions during setup and testing.

Identifying an Interlock Condition

When you launch the MTS TWX application and open a test, the test opens in an interlocked state by
design. To help you identify this error condition, the system lights the Interlock indicator in the main window,
and also writes a “Software Interlock” entry into the Message Log. An interlock condition can be identified
by red indicators in the Controller and Status panels.

Resetting Interlocks

To resolve an interlock condition, simply press the Reset button on the Controller panel.

Using the Status Window to Identify Error Conditions

Show the Status window by clicking the small arrow in the lower right corner of the Status panel.
