Pressurize the Triaxial Cell
Note:
You must know how to operate your confining and pore pressure intensifiers to successfully run
tests.
The figures in this section show a specimen setup for a pore pressure test. Pressurizing this Cell is
basically the same for extension/pore pressure and compression tests.
1. Set the mode selector to Setup.
2. Unlock and lower the bell onto the platen assembly.
Ensure that the extensometer zero pins clear the bell.
