Condition

Controls when the alarm should trigger.

Greater than - Triggers the alarm when the

measurement value is greater than or equal to the
Alert and Danger Threshold values.
The Danger Threshold value must be greater than
or equal to the Alert Threshold value for the trigger
to occur.

Less than - Triggers the alarm when the

measurement value is less than or equal to the
Alert and Danger Threshold values.
The Danger Threshold value must be less than or
equal to the Alert Threshold value for the trigger to
occur.

Inside range - Triggers the alarm when the

measurement value is equal to or inside the range
of the Alert and Danger Threshold values.
The Danger Threshold (High) value must be less
than or equal to the Alert Threshold (High) value
AND the Danger Threshold (Low) value must be
greater than or equal to the Alert Threshold (Low)
value for the trigger to occur.

Outside range - Triggers the alarm when the

measurement value is equal to or outside the
range of the Alert and Danger Threshold values.

The Danger Threshold (High) value must be greater
than or equal to the Alert Threshold (High) value,
AND the Danger Threshold (Low) value must be
less than or equal to the Alert Threshold (Low)
value for the trigger to occur.

Outside Range

Alert Threshold (High)

The threshold value for the alert (alarm) condition.

Note: This parameter is the greater threshold value
when Condition is set to "Inside Range" or "Outside
Range."

Same measurement unit as
Temperature Units selection. Note
that for rate alarms, it is units per
minute.

Danger Threshold (High)

The threshold value for the danger (shutdown)
condition.

Note: This parameter is the greater threshold value
when Condition is set to "Inside Range" or "Outside
Range."

Same measurement unit as
Temperature Units selection. Note
that for rate alarms, it is units per
minute.
