INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
WARNING
Disconnect primary power at the source before as-
sembling or disassembling the power supply, torch
parts, or torch and leads assemblies.
Power supplies are factory-wired for HIGH VOLTAGE,
either 460VAC or 380-415VAC, as ordered. Voltage can
be changed from HIGH VOLTAGE to 208/230 VAC or
220 VAC (low voltage), as follows:
HIGH VOLTAGE
Low Voltage
460 VAC
208/230 VAC
380-415 VAC
220 VAC
To change the voltage selection use the following proce-
dures:
1. Locate the voltage selection block mounted on the in-
put power terminal block on the center chassis.
2. Pull the single wire voltage selection plug from the
auxilliary transformer input connector.

3. Remove the the nuts and star washers from the two
unused power studs.
4. Remove the two nuts and star washers securing the
voltage selection block to the terminal block.
5. Pull the voltage selection block up and out from the
terminal block.
6. Turn the voltage selection block 180° then slide the
voltage selection block back onto the terminal block.
7. Reinstall the star washers and nuts.
8. Tighten all the nuts.
NOTE
If changing from low voltage to HIGH VOLTAGE
all nuts must be tightened even if not used on the
terminal block.
9. Insert the single wire voltage selection plug into the
auxilliary transformer input connector.

3.07 Input Power Cable Connections
WARNING
Disconnect primary power at the source before con-
necting the primary power cable to the power sup-
ply.
The primary power cable must be supplied by the end
user and installed to the power supply assembly. Refer
to Appendix 1 for suggested cable sizes.
