HMC-410 Robotic Interface Kit Robot Connection Installation

The ABB kit interfaces with the ABB SJ2 control via the 24 pin Amphenol (from the 870236-1 kit) found on

the back of the HMC-410.
The Fanuc kit interfaces with the Fanuc R-J2 control via the 37 pin Amphenol (from the 870236-2 kit) found

on the back of the HMC-410.
The Comau kit interfaces with the Comau robot control via the 37 pin Amphenol (from the 870236-3 kit),

that is attached to the Comau robot control via a custom cable assembly. Details for this cable assembly

are available from Thermal Arc. Contact the manufacturer for more details.
External water pressure sensors, shielding gas flow switches, and wire sensors may be incorporated wired

into this control for feedback to the robot for status of those critical elements. These sensors are wired to a

terminal block found in the back of the HMC-410. The terminals are ¼” Quick Connect style terminals. The

terminals are defined as follows:

rangement be required, consult the following for details.
