This line is a 0 to 10 VDC analog signal, which corresponds to 1.0 Volts

DC = 100 Arc Amps.

R

Weld On/Off

When the robot control shorts this line to 0 VDC Common, the HMC-410

will initiate a weld and continue it for as long as the voltage is present.

Once the short is removed, the weld is stopped. The parameters for the

weld are programmed in the PREFLOW, RUNIN, WELD (including

sub-segments), CRATERFILL, BURNBACK, and POSTFLOW

screens. Times for each segment are programmed on the HMC-410.

Voltage and Wire Feed Speed can be programmed locally on the

HMC-410, or remotely from the robot control. To use the remotely con-

trolled settings, set the appropriate parameter setting to EEE.

S

Gas On

When the robot control shorts this line to 0 VDC Common, the HMC-410

will purge the gas lines.

T

Spare 24V Out-

put

U

Wire Forward

When the robot control shorts this line to 0 VDC Common, the HMC-410

will run the wire at the speed set in the INCH SPEED window on the

HMC-410. If EEE is selected for INCH SPEED, the speed will be set by

the voltage on pins E and F.

V

Wire Reverse

When the robot control shorts this line to 0 VDC Common, the HMC-410

will reverse wire at the speed set in the INCH SPEED window on the

HMC-410. If EEE is selected for INCH SPEED, the speed will be set by

the voltage on pins E and F.
