The SYSTEM CONFIGURATION REPORT contains a section that documents the current
configuration of the serial interface used to communicate with external POS equipment. The
SYSTEM CONFIGURATION REPORT also contains a section that documents the current
BAUD rate. The BAUD rate of the POS4000 main console and external POS system MUST be
identical. To change the BAUD rate of the POS4000 main console refer to Section 4.1.6.
Note:
With the Optional Remote ExtPOS Connection Software, each POS4000 console’s
BAUD rate must be identical to the external POS system it is connected to.
