NOTE: Hinge is not included in kit.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTION
The DPS retrofits existing door hinges with minimal preparation, by replacing one set of opposing center screws on each hinge leaf with fake
snap-in screw head holding sleeves (looks like a standard screw head).
• The SPST (Single-Pole-Single-Throw) Magnetic Reed Switch actuates when in proximity of a magnet. Circuit breaks when door is opened.
• Both switch and magnet positions are adjustable within their holding sleeves
• The DPS is UL Listed for up to 3 hours as a field installed fire rated accessory
• The DPS is ElectroLynx compatible
The ElectroLynx wiring system is designed to be installation friendly
with quick connectors.
IMPORTANT: ElectroLynx connectors plug and lock together in only
one way, as shown.
Do NOT force connectors together.

Use appropriate magnet for application:
• Plain Magnet: Low gauss, for wood frame and door
• Colored Magnet: High gauss, for metal frame and door

IMPORTANT
