between normal and simulation
mode, which cannot be done
while the electrophoresis station
is running

Stop the run to switch modes. To switch modes,
select Tools > Options > Advanced and then
select or deselect Instrument Simulation Mode

a run

Select a project, then start the run

Failed to connect to the database
