7.

Release the connector latch that secures the keyboard cable to the connector on the system board and release the cable.

 

8.

Lift the keyboard off the computer.

 

Replacing the Keyboard

 

1.

Slide the keyboard cable into the connector on the system board and pull down on the connector latch that secures the keyboard cable to the system
board.

 

2.

Align the tabs along the bottom of the keyboard with the slots of the palm rest and slide the keyboard under the palm rest.

 

 

3.

Replace the four screws at the top of the keyboard.

 

4.

Align the hooks beneath the keyboard surround and snap it into place.

 

5.

Replace the Center Control Cover (see

Replacing the Center Control Cover

).


 

6.

Slide the battery into the bay until it clicks into place.
