Removing the Microphone

 

1.

Follow the instructions in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Press and eject any installed cards from the ExpressCard slot and the 8-in-1 memory card reader.

 

3.

Remove any installed memory modules and Mini-Cards (see

Memory

and

Communication Cards

).


 

4.

Follow the instructions in

Removing the Palm Rest

.


 

5.

Disconnect the microphone cable connector.

 

6.

Remove the microphone from the computer base.

 

Replacing the Microphone

 

1.

Place the microphone in the computer base.

 

2.

Connect the microphone cable to the connector on the system board.

 

3.

Follow the instructions in

Replacing the Palm Rest

.


 

4.

Reinstall the memory modules and Mini-Cards, if any.

 

5.

Reinstall any removed cards in the ExpressCard and 8-in-1 card slots.
