Replacing the display-panel
AlienFX LEDs

Procedure
1 Adhere the display-panel AlienFX LEDs to the display back-cover.
2 Route the display-panel AlienFX LED cables on the display back-cover and
adhere the cables to the display back-cover.
3 Adhere the tapes that secure the display-panel AlienFX LEDs to the display
back-cover.
Post-requisites
1 Follow the procedure from step 4 to step 5 in "Replacing the display back-
cover ".
2 Replace the display panel .
3 Follow the procedure from step 2 to step 5 in “Replacing the display bezel ”.
4 Replace the display assembly .
5 Replace the hinge covers .
6 Follow the procedure from step 5 to step 11 in “Replacing the palm rest ”.
7 Replace the wireless card .
8 Replace the solid-state drives .
9 Replace the memory modules .
10 Replace the base panel .
