current date). Type in the appropriate information. Use the
tab key to move between the month, day, and year fields.

Time

TIME

sets the computer to the time you specify (usually

the current time). Type in the appropriate information.
Use the tab key to move between the hours, minutes, and
seconds fields. This option is useful if you travel between
time zones.

Hard-Disk Drive 0

HARD-DISK DRIVE 0

displays the capacity of the com-

puter’s hard-disk drive. This option has no user-
selectable settings. If you install a drive with a different
capacity, this option changes automatically.

Boot Sequence

BOOT SEQUENCE

determines which disk device the com-

puter uses to find the software needed to start the
operating system.

DISKETTE FIRST

(the default) causes the computer first to

attempt booting from a bootable diskette. If the computer
does not detect a diskette in the diskette drive, the com-
puter tries to boot from the hard-disk drive. If there is a
diskette in the diskette drive, but the diskette does not have
the required boot files, an error message is displayed.

HARD DISK ONLY

causes the computer to boot only from

the hard-disk drive. If it fails to boot from the hard-disk
drive, the computer does not attempt to boot from the
diskette drive.
