Navigating Custom Settings Configuration Mode

Custom Settings configuration mode provides four main tabs: BASIC SETUP,
WIRELESS, ADMINISTRATION,
and STATUS. The BASIC SETUP, WIRELESS, and
ADMINISTRATION tabs provide subtabs that allow access to configuration pages.
The STATUS tab provides subtabs that allow access to status pages. The following
illustration demonstrates the menu tree of Custom Settings configuration mode.

Note the following:

• For information about configuration pages accessed from the BASIC

SETUP tab, refer to “Configuring Basic Setup Settings” on page 18.

• For information about configuration pages accessed from the WIRELESS

tab, refer to “Configuring Wireless Settings” on page 23.

• For information about configuration pages accessed from the

ADMINISTRATION tab, refer to “Configuring Administration Settings” on
page 33.

• For information about status pages accessed from the STATUS tab, refer to

“Viewing the Status of the Access Point” on page 38.

Saving/Canceling Configuration Changes

To save changes that you make to a configuration page, click Save settings at the
bottom of the page. If you do not wish to save your changes, click Cancel.

NOTE: When you click Save settings, the access point saves the changes and
restarts to allow the changes to take effect. After 15-20 seconds, the “Bridge AP
Settings and Info” page opens to allow you to review the settings.
