802.11a/b/g Wireless Access Point

Hostname: (Optional) Enter a name that identifies the access point on the
network. The hostname is restricted to the letters a to z (not case sensitive),
the digits 1 to 9, and the hyphen. The default setting is
CEN-WAP-ABG-1G.

Domain name: (Optional) Enter a domain name for the access point.

Configuring Operational Mode To configure operational mode, click the BASIC SETUP tab and then click the

OPERATIONAL MODE subtab. The “Operational Mode” page opens.

Click either of the following radio buttons:

WiFi Access Point: (Default setting) Provides connectivity to Crestron

Wi-Fi touchpanels and remote controls.

WiFi Bridge: Provides connectivity between remote wired LAN devices

and an existing Wi-Fi network.

Configuring DHCP Server
Settings

If a DHCP server does not exist on the network, the access point can be configured
as a DHCP server to automatically assign IP addresses to client devices on the
network.

NOTE: An IP address is leased by the access point to a client device for 24 hours.

To configure the access point as the DHCP server in your network, click the BASIC
SETUP
tab and then click the DHCP SERVER subtab. The “DHCP Server” page
opens.
