4.

Loosen muffler joint clamp.

5.

Remove muffler mounting bolts *The nuts on the back
are difficult to get a wrench on but it is easier than
removing the rear section.

6.

Remove OEM muffler assembly and joint clamp with
gasket.

7.

Install TBR supplied muffler hanger bracket in the
rearward position of OEM muffler mount and secure
with 8x50mm bolt.

8.

Attach TBR slip-tube to TBR muffler using the supplied
X-ring and 8x14mm bolts and lock washers. Leave loose
for now.

9.

Slide supplied barrel clamp over slip-tube at joint end.

10. Install TBR muffler assembly, attach with supplied 8x25mm

bolt and OEM nut.

14. Double check your work and make sure all bolts are

tightened and the exhaust is aligned correctly.

15. Before you run the ATV, clean off all fingerprints and

dirt, as any oily residue will etch the metal and become
somewhat permanent when the system gets hot. Run the
ATV and enjoy. It is normal for some white smoke to
appear the first time you start the ATV. This is packing/
manufacturing oil from inside the pipe burning off.
Check for gaps or leaks. If you find a leak, a little high
temperature silicon sealant should fix it. After 50 to 100
miles, recheck all fasteners for tightness.
