Two Brothers Racing Honda CBR250R - Manual

1. Make sure the bike is completely cool before starting the
installation. Make sure the bike is secure on a center stand
or ideally a service lift.
2. Remove rear right fairing mount to access header pipe bolt.
3. Remove OEM muffl er by removing mounting bolt and loosening
joint clamp.
4. Remove header mounting hardware, save to re-use later.
5. Remove header fl ange nuts and remove header pipe.
6. Install header pipe using OEM fl ange nuts, gasket, and support
bracket bolt.
7. Re-install fairing bolt.
8. Apply a thin layer of anti-seize to TBR slip tube outlet and
connect to Tarmac muffler using supplied hook springs.
Loosely install barrel clamp onto slip tube inlet.
9. Install TBR slip-on assembly onto TBR header and attach
muffl er bracket to passenger peg mount using OEM bolt,
washer, and nut. Tighten to snug.
10. Tighten barrel clamp at header connection.
11. Check for clearance and alignment. Then tighten all the bolts.
12. Before you run the bike, clean off all fi ngerprints and dirt, as
any oily residue will etch the metal and become somewhat
permanent when the system gets hot. Run the bike and enjoy.
It is normal for some white smoke to appear the fi rst time you
start the bike. This is packing/manufacturing oil from inside
the pipe burning off. Check for gaps or leaks. If you fi nd a leak,
a little high temperature silicon sealant should fi x it. After 50
to 100 miles, recheck all fasteners for tightness.

make sure the bike is secure on a centerstand or ideally a service lift during
installation. Be sure to save all stock components for possible use later.
