W hen you flnish recording

Disconnect the m icrophone. The line input jacks on the rear of the unit will not work

as tong as the m icrophone is connected to the M IC jack.

W hen you are recording from a m icrophone

Press INPUT SELECTOR until “Level Sync OFF" lights up. It “Level Sync ON"

rem ains on while you are recording from a m icrophone, the track num bers will be

excessively increm ented due to the frequent breaks in sound input.

if “Protected" appears in the display window

The disc is write-protected. Close the slot to record on ther disc (see page 28).

W hen “TOC" flashes in the display window

Do not jog the unit or puli out the power cord.

W hen recording starts

PROGRAM or SHUFFLE play Is canceled.

To check the remaining time on the disc
See page 26.

To stop recording temporarily

Press ► 11(11).
Press ► HI (► - or II) again to restart recording.

To eject a disc
Press EJECTS.
