Assembly Editing

Assembly editing usually operates automatically for smooth, noise-free
transition between shots. However, use manual assembly editing when the
video cassette has been unloaded during recording, camera has been turned
off before being placed in record pause mode, battery pack charge runs out
and turns camera off, or power source has been removed during recording.

Use playback functions to

find recording start point.

• Watch viewfinder and locate editing start

position.

• See pp.26~27 for playback functions.

Press STiLL button at
recording start point.

• Camera enters still playback mode.

Turn camera off and then

turn camera back on.

• Camera enters record pause mode.

• Recording begins.
• Tally lamp flashes rapidly.

• There may be some difference between point where you press STILL button

and point where actual recording starts.
