SSL Certification Management

To generate the certificate with the WAP device, click Export Certificate.
Generating a new SSL certificate restarts the secure Web server. The secure
connection will not work until the new certificate is accepted on the browser.

If an SSL certificate (with a .pem extension) exists on the WAP device, you can
install it to your computer as a backup. Browse to the certificate file and click
Install Certificate.

Status

The Status section describes how to change the status settings for the access
point:

Local Network

The Status > Local Network page displays the access point’s current status
information for the local network. To check local network status, follow these
steps:

STEP 1

Click Status > Local Network.

This page displays the status information of your access point:

PID VID—The WAP hardware model and version.

Software Version—The version of the access point’s current software.

Local MAC Address—The MAC address of the access point’s local
network interface.

System Up Time—The length of time the access point has been
running.

Local Network

IP Address—The access point’s IP address as it appears on your local
network.

Subnet Mask—The access point’s subnet mask.

-

Default Gateway—The IP address of your gateway or router. The value
used by other devices on your LAN.
