Not in Legal AP List—Check to flag any access point not listed in the
Legal AP List as a rouge access point. If you check this check box, you
must maintain the Legal AP List.

Define Legal AP—Click to open a sub-screen where you can modify the
Legal AP List. This list must contain all known access points. You must
maintain this list.

STEP 3

Click Save.

Administration

The Administration section describes how to configure the administration settings
of the access point:

Management

The Administration > Management page allows you to configure the password,
Web Access, and SNMP settings. You should change the username/password
that controls access to the access point’s web-based utility to prevent
unauthorized access.

To change the management settings of the access point, follow these steps:

STEP 1

Click Administration > Management.

STEP 2

Configure the management settings.

Local AP Password

-

User Name—Modify the administrator user name. The default is admin.

AP Password—Modify the administrator password for the access
point’s web-based utility. The default is admin.

Re-enter to confirm—Confirm the new password by entering it again in
this field.

Web Access—Enable HTTPS to increase the security on accessing the
web-based utility. Once enabled, users need to use https:// when
accessing the Web-based Utility.
