To record from another disc on the remaining blank portion of the tape (LINK)
The automatic link function allows you to link tracks from another
disc on the remainder of the tape.
1 Press OPEN/CLOSE to replace the disc.
2 Press CD EDIT.

• It is not possible to select FIT.
Press SET.
When ALBUM recording is performed:
The unit will specify the tracks and display the result.
When PROGRAM recording is performed:
Specify the track and sequence using the jog dial and SET
button.
4 Press the CD play button for automatic re­
cording.
The compact disc player automatically scans for the peak
(highest) level of the entire disc (ATLS) and then recording will
start.
5 If you record from more discs, follow the
above procedure.
■ To cancel the link-edit recording
(Also available from the remote control)
Press the stop button in the deck section.
Note:
When stopped the compact disc play during link edit recording, the
editing mode will be cancelled.
Never release the recording standby condition of the deck section
by pressing stop button.
(The editing mode will be cancelled.)
