Selecting the display

Press DISPLAY on the tuner section.

DISPLAY

The unit’s display can be stepped through the input mode display,

present time, tape counter.

This feature comes in handy during recording when making a note
of the tape counter or checking out the present time for recording a

radio program.

When the input select button marked “CD" is used

Press DISPLAY momentarily on the amplifier sec­

tion.

•The spectrum analyzer shows the level of each sound range with

five types of display described below.

•The spectrum analyzer display overlapped with the equalization

curve will change as follows.

Bar-type display

This display indicates the strength of the sound in each tonal range.

2j Peak-hold display

The peak sound value of each sound range is held on the display for

about one second after occurs.

n Symmetry display

This display indicates the strength of the sound from up and down.

n Bass-mode display

This display appears only when you select the V. BASS mode.

(See page 49.) It shows the strength of the augmented bass level.

Note:
When you press V. BASS to ON in any display modes, the bar-type
display will be switched to appear.

■ To display the spectrum analysis display with­

out the equalization curve

Press and hold DISPLAY on the amplifier section.
