SupplierExpress Administrator's Guide

When you upgrade from a Direct ERP Integration to a MarkView Integration,

SupplierExpress starts to authenticate users through MarkView. As a result, your suppliers

will not be able to view invoice PDF images from the Invoices tab. However, the supplier

can still view the invoice images from the Invoice Submissions tab. Let your suppliers know

about the change.
To upgrade SupplierExpress, install the latest version of the SupplierExpress Agent.

Pre-installation Tasks

that you download from the Kofax Customer Portal after contacting Kofax Technical

Support in the previous step.

Oracle Pre-installation Tasks

The database administrator must create a SupplierExpress schema user. The installation

process stores the SupplierExpress schema user information on the agent machine and creates

synonyms that allow SupplierExpress access to the appropriate tables in the Oracle database.
The SupplierExpress installation process prompts you for both the Oracle APPS schema user

name and password, and the SupplierExpress schema user name and password.
To create an alternate SupplierExpress user, the database administrator runs the following

SQL commands:

create user <username> identified by <password>;
grant connect, resource to <username>;
grant create synonym to <username>;
commit;

1 Enter the schema user information on the Installation Worksheet.
