The

Easy Recording,

Spotlight and

Night modes are all-automatic modes. In the

Auto,

Tv Shutter-Priority, Av Aperture-Priority and M Manual modes you can manually change

some settings to match the recording conditions.

Easy Recording

The camcorder automatically controls the focus, shutter speed, aperture, gain,
white balance, and AE Shift allowing you to simply point and film. This mode locks
all of these features and options, making them fixed and unadjustable.

Auto

Like the Easy Recording mode, the camcorder automatically controls camera
adjustments allowing you to simply point and film. However, in the Auto mode you
have the option of adjusting the settings manually.

Shutter-Priority ( 51)

Use this mode to select the shutter speed. The camcorder automatically sets a
matching aperture setting.
