Rotate the axis of the feed roller as you clean the grey bands on either end.
As you rotate the feed roller on its axis, move the cloth
from side to side to clean the grey bands on either
end of the feed roler.

Switch on the printer. Allow the areas you cleaned on the feed roller
to dry completely before you start the next print job.
■
After you depress the centre of the sheet feeder, the feed roller
will rotate easily around its axis.
■
Use only a clean, damp cloth, tightly wrung out, to clean the feed
rollers. Never use tissue or a cloth treated with any type of chemi-
cal substance.
■
To avoid soiling the feed roller bands with dirt or oil, avoid touch-
ing them with your fingers.
