Scheduling record settings

Ensure that the NetHDD has been installed and initialized before configuring the
recording settings.

Description of the record schedule window

Defining a recording schedule lets you specify when the encoder records video
and under what circumstances. Each camera can be configured to have its own
recording schedule.

1. Schedule time. Represents the 24-hour cycle during which a schedule is selected.

2. Camera. Select a camera for the recording schedule.

3. Recording type. There are five recording types to select for the schedule, which are color-

coded:

 Normal (Blue): Records continuously.

 Motion (Green): Records only motion events.

 Alarm (Red): Records only alarm events.

 Motion | Alarm (Orange): Records motion or alarm events.

 Motion & Alarm (Pale blue): Records motion and alarm events.

4. Timeline (TL). There is a 24-hour time line for each day. Each square in the timeline

represents an hour in the 24-hour period. Up to eight recording periods can be scheduled
during the 24-hour period.
