PSW Option 1.1

Lettering

PSIV now allows you to choose Step Satin stitches to fill letters. Prior to
Option 1.1, letters would automatically be created in a Satin stitch.
Now you can select step satin stitching before filling the letters.

Click on Files: New .

In the Open dialog box choose New.

In the New dialog box click on OK.

Click on the Lettering icon, then type PSW.

Set the lettering height to 500; use the Block Large font.

Select Step Satin in the stitch type box.

Rotate the letters to fit in the hoop.

Click the right mouse to fill the stitches.

Note that the letters have been created in a Step Satin stitch

If you desire the letters can now be edited. Click Edit Outline.

Click Edit Lettering, to edit the letters. The entire word will be in
the block to edit.

Click Center Frame to center the word within the frame.

To add underlay to the lettering, click

Lettering Parameters

To increase the density of the

lettering, set the density to 4.0.

15. Click OK to apply the changes.
