5. TO CLEAN SNAP - OPEN RACE

When the thread is tangled in the race or dust pets into the space oetween

the shuttle and shuttle-race, this will cause abrupt heavy running or complete

stoppage of the machine.

When this occurs

Raise the needle bar to its hignesf point and take out the bobbin casp

(Fig. 10)

(2)

Release the KNOBS on

both sides of shuttle-race

by snapping off from the

insiae, then lake out- the

out-ring

and

the

shuttle

body with your figers.
