n. TO REGULATE THE STITCH LENGTH

By regulating the FEED REGULATING LEVER up or down sewing could be done

backword and forward with the same length of the stitch.

(1)

The graduator indicates Stitch length - figures from 0 to 5 ;

(2)

Loosen STOP SCREW (11) of LEVER by turning to the COUNTERCLOCK­

WISE and set the LEVER at the desired length of the st.tch ond secure by

tightening the SCREW and commence sewing;

(3)

The backward (reverse) sewing can be made with the same leng

forward stitch by pushing up the LEVER as for as it goes for "R-, marked

direction. (Fig. 17).
