There are several ways to modify the fume hood for
your individual requirements. These include the
addition of work surfaces, service fixtures, air monitor,
distillation grids, electrical duplex outlets, ceiling
enclosures, and rear panels.

Installing Hardboard
Support

Your Protector Perchloric Acid Fume Hood requires a
hardboard support to properly support the floor of the
one-piece stainless steel liner. The hardboard support is
shipped and included with the Protector Perchloric Acid
Fume Hood. Be sure to secure the hardboard support
per the instructions on pages 14 and 15 in Chapter 3.
