28 INFO KEY
INFO KEY
This is a keypad only command: there is no
terminal equivalent.
INFO displays and continuously monitors
battery voltage and temperature, and tells you
whether the charger is connected and turned
on.
The charger normally looks after itself and
it needs no assistance.
S4 is powered by a rechargeable battery of 7
nickel cadmium cells providing 8.4 volts
600ma/hr. Charging is automatic: you do not
have to turn the charger on or off.
The charger turns on automatically when the
FUEL GAUGE indicates that battery is less
than 25% charged.
You do not have to switch the charger on or
off deliberately, but you can do so if you
wish in INFO mode by pressing or .
