Calibrating the Sensor Pen
Before using the sensor pen for the first time be
sure to calibrate it to the screen. Doing so allows
the machine to learn the position you usually hold
a pen.
Hold the sensor pen at a comfortable angle and
then calibrate the machine according to the
procedure below.
Be sure to keep the sensor pen at the same angle
while calibrating the first and second points.

Display page 3 of the settings screen.

Connect the sensor pen to the machine and
then press
.
→ The Sensor Function Calibration screen appears.

First touch the green dot marking on the
needle plate cover using the sensor pen.
* Touch on the needle plate cover.

A beep will sound and the a will change to red. (If
the beep is not heard, check that the volume setting
on page 1/7 of the settings is set at 1 or higher and
then touch a again.)
* Press to redo the first point by starting over
from step c .
