Output Mode
Modo de salida
El modo de salida sirve para elegir si la J-Station producirá una imagen stereo o
mono de la señal en las salidas izquierda y derecha. Si activa en On el modo de
salida producirá una imagen stereo, mientras que si lo deja en Off producirá una
imagen mono. El procedimineto de selección del modo de salida es el siguiente:
1. Pulse el botón Shift. Se encenderá este botón.
2. Pulse el botón Tuner/Utility.También se iluminará ese botón.
3. Pulse el botón Tap-It hasta que en pantalla aparezcan los caracteres
St
(abreviatura de stereo). En pantalla parpadearán alternativamente los
caracteres
St y On (activado) u Of (desactivado).
4. Gire el mando Data para elegir si desea activar o desactivar el modo de salida.
5. Pulse otra vez el botón Tuner/Utility para salir de este modo.
Pista seca
La función de pista seca le permite elegir si la señal de la salida digital S/PDIF
estará colocada antes o después de los módulos de efectos. Si coloca el modo
de pista seca con el valor On la señal se colocará directamente antes de la
puerta de ruidos, y saldrá a traves de la salida digital S/PDIF sin que se le aplique
ningún efecto (a no ser que el valor elegido para el parámetro de posición de
efectos sea Pre). Los efectos pueden ser monitorizados en las salidas digitales,
pero la salida digital producirá una señal seca. Si desactiva este modo dejándolo
en Off, la señal será captada al final de los efectos y será emitida al exterior a
traves de la salida S/PDIF con lo que tendrá efectos. El procedimiento de
selección de este modo es el siguiente:
1. Pulse el botón Shift. Se encenderá este botón.
2. Pulse el botón Tuner/Utility.También se iluminará ese botón.
3. Pulse el botón Tap-It hasta que en pantalla aparezcan los caracteres

4. Gire el mando Data para elegir si desea activar o desactivar este modo.

Nivel de salida digital
Este menú le permite ajustar el nivel de la señal en la salida digital S/PDIF. Resulta
útil para prevenir la saturación digital que puede tener lugar cuando dirige esta
salida a una mezcladora o a una grabadora digital. El procedimiento de selección
y ajuste del nivel de salida digital es el siguiente:
1. Pulse el botón Shift. Se encenderá este botón.
2. Pulse el botón Tuner/Utility.También se iluminará ese botón.
3. Pulse el botón Tap-It hasta que en pantalla aparezcan los caracteres

(abreviatura de salida digital). En pantalla parpadearán alternativamente los
caracteres
do y el nivel de salida digital que tenga entonces.
4. Gire el mando Data para elegir si desea activar o desactivar este modo.
5. Pulse otra vez el botón Tuner/Utility para salir de este modo.
Simulador global de caja
Determina si la simulación de caja de la J-Station está activa para que pueda
realizar una grabación directa a una mesa, o si está desactivada para la conexión
a un amplificador de guitarra. Si activa el simulador activará también el simulador
de caja en todos los presets. El procedimiento para seleccionar el simulador
global de caja es el siguiente:
1. Pulse el botón Shift. Se encenderá este botón.
2. Pulse el botón Tuner/Utility.También se iluminará ese botón.
3. Pulse el botón Tap-It hasta que en pantalla aparezcan los caracteres
gC
(abbreviatura de caja global). En pantalla parpadearán alternativamente los
caracteres
gC y On (activado) u Of (desactivado).
4. Gire el mando Data para elegir si desea activar o desactivar este modo.
5. Pulse otra vez el botón Tuner/Utility para salir de este modo.
Output Mode
The output mode is used to select whether the J-Station will produce a stereo
image or a mono signal at the left and right outputs. Setting the Output mode
to On will produce a Stereo image. Setting it to Off will produce a mono signal.
The procedure for selecting the Output Mode is as follows:
1. Press the Shift button.The button will light
2. Press the Tuner/Utility button.This button will also light.
3. Press the Tap-It button until
St (abbreviation for Stereo) shows in the
display.The Display will then flash between St and either On (on) or Of (off).
4. Rotate the Data knob to select either on or off.
5. Press the Tuner/Utility button again to exit.
Dry Track
The Dry Track feature allows you to select whether the signal at the S/PDIF
digital output is taken before or after the effects modules. Setting the Dry Track
mode to On will tap the signal directly after the Noise Gate, and deliver it to
the S/PDIF digital output without any effects (unless Pre is the selected value for
the Effect Position Parameter). The effects can be monitored at the analog
outputs, but the digital out will be a dry signal. Setting it to Off will tap the signal
from the end of the effects and deliver it to the S/PDIF digital output with
effects.The procedure for selecting the Output Mode is as follows:
1. Press the Shift button.The button will light
2. Press the Tuner/Utility button.This button will also light.
3. Press the Tap-It button until
dt (abbreviation for Dry Track) shows in the
display.The Display will then flash between dt and either On (on) or Of (off).
4. Rotate the Data knob to select either on or off.
5. Press the Tuner/Utility button again to exit.
Digital Output Level
This menu allows you to adjust the signal strength at the S/PDIF Digital Output.
This is useful in preventing digital clipping from occurring as you go into a digital
mixer or recorder.The procedure for selecting and adjusting the Digital Output
Level is as follows:
1. Press the Shift button.The button will light
2. Press the Tuner/Utility button.This button will also light.
3. Press the Tap-It button until
do (abbreviation for Digital Output) shows in
the display. The Display will then flash between do and the current Digital
Output Level.
4. Rotate the Data knob to select the desired Output Level.
5. Press the Tuner/Utility button again to exit.
Global Cabinet Emulator
The Global Cabinet Emulator selects whether the J-Station’s Cabinet emulation
is engaged for recording direct into a console, or turned off for connecting to a
guitar amplifier. Setting the Cabinet Emulator mode to On will engage the
Cabinet Emulator in all Presets. Setting it to Off will disable it in all Presets.The
procedure for selecting the Global Cabinet Emulator is as follows:
1. Press the Shift button.The button will light
2. Press the Tuner/Utility button.This button will also light.
3. Press the Tap-It button until
gC (abbreviation for Global Cabinet) shows in
the display.The Display will then flash between gC and either On (on) or Of
(off).
4. Rotate the Data knob to select either on or off.
5. Press the Tuner/Utility button again to exit.
