2.8 CONNECTING A SERIAL DEVICE
Rhino-NET™ can be connected to several types of serial devices through its COM1 port
such as: serial printers, PCs or Laptops.
Refer to the documentation received with the serial device for complete instructions.

1. Turn the Rhino-NET™ power switch off before attaching the serial cable.
2. Seat the connector firmly over the pins and turn the thumbscrews in a clockwise
direction. Do not overtighten.
3. Use strain relief cable clamps to secure the cable to Rhino-NET™.
4. Turn Rhino-NET™ on.
