Port: assigns the type of port used by the peripheral device. The values are: Serial port
(COM2/Scanner), Bluetooth port, or Cordless Card port (PCMCIA).

Baudrate: defines the communication port baudrate.

Frame Bits: defines the communication port data bits setting.

Stop Bits: defines the communication port stop bits setting.

Parity: defines the communication port parity setting.

Read Timeout: defines the delay in milliseconds for data reception which determines the
end of code. Characters received within this timeout are part of the same code. When the
timeout expires the code is completed and any further data is attributed to the next code.

Scan Parameters

The Scan Parameters control how barcode scanner data is managed by Rhino-NET™. The
Scan parameters are described as follows:
