During playback, press the REPEAT button to change the repeat
mode. Each time the REPEAT button is pressed, the repeat setting
changes as follows:

REPEAT TRK (Track repeat)

The track being played will be played
repeatedly.
If you select another track, the selected
track will be played repeatedly.

All the tracks on the disc will be played
repeatedly.

REPEAT DSC (Disc repeat)

REPEAT OFF

< When playback stops, the repeat mode is canceled.

Most Super Audio CDs contain 2-channel stereo recordings. Some
Super Audio CDs are multi-channel/stereo. These include hybrid disc
recordings (two-layer discs) that contain Super Audio CD and regular
CD (PCM), data.
If you have a disc with selectable playback layers, and if you want to
change the playback option, follow these directions.

Press the STOP button on the front panel for more than
2 seconds
to change the playback area of a Super Audio CD when
playback is stopped.

Pressing the PLAY AREA button on the remote control unit can also
change the playback area when the player is in stop mode.

< The setting described on page 23 allows you to determine which

layer will be first selected for playback (priority for playback).

< If the “2ch/Multi ch“ setting is set to “2ch“, the 2-channel area is

selected when a 2-channel/multi-channel hybrid disc is loaded.
If the “2ch/Multi ch“ setting is set to “Multi ch“, the multi-channel
area is selected when a 2-channel/multi-channel hybrid disc is
loaded.

< If the Super Audio CD 2-channel area is selected, “SACD 2ch” will

be displayed and the L and R channel indicators will light. If the
Super Audio CD multi-channel area is selected, “SACD Multi“ will
be displayed and all channel indicators will light. If the CD area is
selected, “CD Area“ will be displayed and the channel indicators
will not light.
