Restoring Factory Default Settings

Setting Items (3)

Settings that have been made are stored even when the power cord
is disconnected.

If you have made changes through the setup process, and want to
restart from the default factory settings, you can restore the unit to its
default settings in the following way:

If the unit is on, press the POWER button to turn the unit

off and wait for more than 30 seconds.

Press the POWER button while holding down the STOP

button.

Release the STOP button when “Setup CLR” appears on the
display.

All setting changes are now reset, returning the unit to the
factory settings.

Disc loading setting

LOAD>

Sets the disc loading mode.
The factory default setting is "SLOW".

NML

Loads in normal mode.

SLOW

Loads in slow mode. Compared to normal mode, loading is
conducted with greater precision. However, the loading time is also
longer than in normal mode.

Setting the display to darken automatically

FLaOFF>

< If the display is left ON with the same indication for a long time,

brightness irregularities can occur. For this reason, we recommend
that you enable automatic display darkening.

15m

If playback is stopped and no operation is conducted for
15 minutes, the display automatically turns off.

30m

If playback is stopped and no operation is conducted for
30 minutes, the display automatically turns off.

60m

If playback is stopped and no operation is conducted for
60 minutes, the display automatically turns off.

OFF

The display never darkens automatically.

Tray indicator setting

LIGHT>

Sets how the blue indicator above the tray lights.
The factory default setting is "B".

A

Blinks when the tray opens and closes, and stays lit when a disc is in
the tray.

B

Blinks when the tray opens and closes, and lights when the disc is
stopped.

C

Blinks when the tray opens and closes.
Lights when a D-02 is connected and the D/A converter setting is
"ESL3".

OFF

The tray indicator never lights.
