The calibration process is performed using the VR Manager software, described in
the next section of this manual.
Degrees of Freedom
The Wrap Tracker 6TC supports 6 degrees of freedom (DOF) tracking.
Three degrees of freedom tracking (yaw, pitch and roll) are supported by the VR
Manager software and in tracker enabled Vuzix Extensions. The additional 3 DOF,
X, Y and Z, (up/down, left/right and forward/back) require direct or native support
written directly into applications.
Note: A royalty free Software Developer Kit (SDK) is available to assist software developers in
enabling native support for the Wrap Tracker 6TC in their applications. It provides
sample code and technical information that enables programmers to read raw tracker
sensor data. See the Support section of this User Guide for additional information on
the Vuzix Developer Program, found in the Developer Program section of the Vuzix
