Creating a connection

Configuring VDP

1.

On the vCenter Server, select Home > Inventory > Networking.

2.

From the left navigation tree, select HP.

3.

Click the HP Port Group Management tab.

4.

Click the None link in the VDP column to configure VDP for the port group.

5.

Configure VDP:

Network—Select Enterprise A, the network you created on VCM. This field only displays
networks in VLAN 1.

{

VSI Type—Select For FTP Server from the list.

{

VSI Type Version—Select For FTP Server (V1) from the list.

6.

Click OK.

Configuring the network adapter for the VM

1.

Select Home > Inventory > Hosts and Clusters.

2.

From the left navigation tree, right-click FTP Server, and select Edit Settings from the short-cut

menu.

3.

Edit VM vNIC1 as required, and select HPdefaultPortGroup from the Network label list.
