NOTE:

With the icon view, a historical record provides all migrations of a vNIC that belongs to the target VM.
When a VM has multiple vNICs, you can respectively view the migration records for each migrated vNIC
of a VM in the icon view.

For example,

Figure 26

shows the historical migrations related to the vNIC (0015-5d05-1417) of the VM

(test_windows_vmotion). The target VM has been migrated three times, starting from the source server

(HYPERV25 192.168.5.25) to the destination server (HYPERV20 192.168.5.20).

The icon view of the VM historical migrations provides the following information:

VM—Name of the VM.

vNIC—MAC address of the vNIC. If the VM has multiple vNICs, this field displays all MAC
addresses of these vNICs.

Migration Latest Time—Time when the VM migration ended for the last time.

Switch—Device label of the edge switch that connects to the physical server where the VM resides.

Interface—Interface that connects the edge switch to the VM.

Physical Server—Device label of the physical server where the VM resides.

Migration Result—Migration result of the VSI Type. It can be:

Success—All operations to migrate the VM network configuration are successful.

{

Failure—All the operations performed to migrate the VM network configuration failed.

{

Partial Success—Part of the operations performed to migrate the VM network configuration
failed.

For migration of a VM that is shut down, the migration result is grayed out.

Managing operation records

Viewing the operation list

1.

Click the Resource tab.

2.

From the navigation tree, select VAN Connection Manager > Life Cycle Report.

3.

Click the Operation List tab.
All connection deployment and undeployment processes appear in the operation list.
The list includes the following parameters:
