7.3 Keyer Main Menu
Use the
KEYER
main menu to select and modify the keys you want to use
for a transition, both SD and HR.
See Transitions, Effects, and Keying on page 48 for basic information on
keying.
For detailed instructions on how to use keys for a transition, see also
Making a Background Transition on page 55, Making a Title on page 56,
Making a Chroma Key on page 58, Making an Effect Transition on page 59,
Making a PiP (Picture in Picture) in SD Mode on page 60, and Making a PiP
within a PiP in HR Mode on page 61.
Using the submenu tabs on the top, you can select which key should be
used to perform the following actions:
•
Selecting the key type (see page 83).
•
Selecting the source of the fill and the key signal (see page 84).
•
Adjusting the key parameters (see page 85).
•
Modifying the key border (see page 88).
•
Modifying the key size and position (see page 93).
Type
Select the key type:
•
Chroma
•
Luma
•
PiP
(Picture in Picture)
Depending on the key type, different parameters will be displayed in the
Adjust
and the
Border
section.
