location on the Karrera Menu
Panel will be available to any user of that Menu Panel. Multiple Karrera
Menu panels operating with that Karrera system will not be able to access
files stored at this location on another Menu Panel, unless drives are
mapped.
Files can also be saved to an external medium, like a USB Memory Stick,
and then removed for personal storage unavailable to other users.
Save important files to multiple locations (for example, to the Video Pro-
cessor Frame, Menu Panel, and a USB Memory Stick), clearly identify the
files (perhaps including the date in the file name), and store removable
media containing these files in a safe place.
File Type Extensions
Karrera files are named by the user when saved, and this name appears
below the icon in the Karrera browser. The extension for each Karrera
system file type is listed in
The extension is added to the file automatically when saved, but is not dis-
played as part of the file name itself by the Karrera file browser. To prevent
confusion, do not try to add an extension to the file name when saving files.
