Define Inputs Menu
From the Configuration menu, press [DEFINE INPUTS>] to display
the Define Inputs menu shown in Figure 3-25.
Define Inputs Menu Functions:
(PHYSICAL INPUT)
—Selects and highlights the input to be defined.
(AUTO SEL KEY SOURCE)
—Assigns another input to serve as the
automatically selected key source for the currently displayed
input. Turn the knob to set the auto select source for the
highlighted input.
[CLEAR NAME]
—Erases the name of the currently selected input.
[ENTER NAME]
—Enables entering of a name for the currently
selected input using a keyboard attached to the back of the panel,
or a special dial and button entry screen.
[ENTRY MODE]
—Toggles between keyboard entry for “name,” or a
special dial and button entry screen.
[BITS]
—Sets the selected input to 8 or 10 bits to match the
resolution of the signal source.
[TYPE SELECT]
—Identifies the type of signal connected to the
selected input. Choices are depth signal, key signal, shaped video
(shaped by a key signal), or normal video.
[EFX RTN FLAG]
—Identifies the selected input as a return input for
Effects Send video or key coming from a digital effects system. To
set the flag, highlight the input and press the [EFX RTN FLAG] soft
button.
[4:4:4 CK SOURCES>]
—Displays the 4:4:4 Chroma Key Sources
menu.
[XPT DISP LEGENDS]
—Displays the XPT Display Legends menu.
