Shutting Down
To shut down NewsShare NAS, choose System | System Administration |
Shutdown . The Shut Down window appears.
1. From the drop-down list box, choose one of the following:
- Reboot : This option shuts down and then reboots the NewsShare NAS
server.
- Shutdown : This option shuts down the server operating system. Wait at
least one minute after issuing a shutdown before turning off power to the
server node.
2. From the drop-down list box, choose one or both server nodes to shut down
or reboot.
3. Click OK .
NOTE: Shutdown does not turn off the electrical power to a node. It
halts the server.
